Conclusion

The hypothesis was incorrect and did not match up with the data. What was believed is that less hours of sleep could negatively affect how fast a 90 meter dash was ran, but in fact changing the amout of sleep you get just keeps the time relatively the same. The times all stayed within .4 seconds of 13 seconds. There is plenty of room for error in this experiment becuase if you change what you eat or when you eat it might change the outcome of the data. Also, it depends on how well you slept that night, for example if you were tossing and turning all night for one of the experiments and the next you were completely relaxed, it could be a problem. Sleeping a limited number of hours a night does not affect short distance running but it might affect long-distance running which could be a cool experiment.
